In this role you will be responsible for prospecting, closing and onboarding new restaurants into our Editions kitchens, helping merchants expand their footprint and bring the best selection to more locations across the UK.What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll be joining the UK Editions team, our largest and most established delivery kitchen market. Reporting to the Head of Editions, you will be responsible for growing the number of brands that use our delivery kitchens. You will have a unique opportunity to engage some of the most exciting and dynamic brands on Deliveroo and work with a variety of commercial teams across the UK to bring them onboard.Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:Mastering the Pipeline: Identify the best Editions targets with a clearly prioritised pipeline and engagement plan to prospect, pitch, and close these restaurantsNegotiate Strategic Deals: Pitch, negotiate and close important Editions deals, working with commercial teams to structure complex proposals and win-win deals that achieve the best outcomes for both our partners and EditionsOnboarding Excellence: Ensure new partners are set up for success by selling-in marketing packages and ensuring menu completeness at go-liveStakeholder Alignment: Ensuring Regional Managers are up to date and clear as to how the newly acquired Editions partners are supporting their regional goalsRequirementsEssentialAn ability to consistently hit and exceed targets: a proven track record in sales roles of beating demanding targets.Negotiation Mastery: Proven ability to structure complex deals and navigate high-stakes negotiations with business owners.Nice to haveSalesforce & Process Rigour: Experience role-modelling best-in-class CRM behaviours (Salesforce) and managing a disciplined sales pipeline.Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the economics of food delivery and the challenges facing the restaurant industry today, especially in delivery kitchens.Why DeliverooOur mission is to transform the way you shop and eat, bringing the neighbourhood to your door by connecting consumers, restaurants, shops and riders.
