Responsibilities
- Join the Commercial Property / Real Estate team and be responsible for managing your own caseload.
- Handling acquisitions and disposals (freehold & leasehold) of commercial properties.
- Drafting, negotiating, and advising on leases (landlord / tenant) including renewals, surrenders, rent reviews.
- Advising on property finance, development/site purchase, possibly secured lending.
- Working with corporate teams on property aspects of business sales or acquisitions.
- Working with external stakeholders: agents, surveyors, planning authorities, etc.
- Keeping up to date with property law developments, Land Registry, environmental or planning law where relevant.
Qualifications
- PQE level: typically 5-10 years (or as specified) in commercial property / real estate law.
- Commercial awareness, client‑focused approach.
- Experience in property finance or development work.
- Experience in using modern case management / legal tech systems.
