Job Title: Commercial Manager (Utilities / Civils)

Location: West London / Thames Valley (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + Car / Car Allowance + Full Package

We are working with a leading infrastructure contractor seeking a high-performing Commercial Manager to take ownership of a long-term Mains Rehabilitation framework in the South East.

Currently delivering £50m+ of works annually, and projected to grow further, this framework is a cornerstone of their thriving utilities division. You'll be given the autonomy to lead the commercial function, influence key decisions, and play a pivotal role in driving financial success.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Commercial Manager, or an ambitious Senior / Managing QS ready to step up, to join a business offering stability, growth, and career progression.

The Role

As Commercial Manager, you will lead all commercial activity on the framework, ensuring robust financial control and maximising profitability. Key responsibilities include:

Taking ownership of framework financial performance, including accurate CVRs and reporting

Leading supply chain procurement and management, from subcontract awards through to performance monitoring

Acting as NEC contract expert, ensuring compliance and effective risk management

Driving improvements in commercial systems, processes, and efficiency

Working hand-in-hand with operations teams to align delivery with commercial objectivesAbout You

We are looking for a commercially strong and proactive individual with:

Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior/Managing QS seeking progression

Background in infrastructure, utilities, or civils projects (essential)

In-depth knowledge of NEC contracts

Strong track record in CVRs, subcontract management, and contract administration

Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levelsWhat's On Offer?
