A well-established international contractor delivering some of the UKs most advanced data centre developments is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function on major live projects.
This is a senior role with full responsibility for commercial performance, subcontract strategy, and financial governance on high-value, technically complex schemes.
As Commercial Manager, you will take full ownership of the project commercial lifecycle, working closely with project leadership to drive performance, manage risk, and protect margin.

Key Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of a data centre project
• Lead cost reporting, forecasting, and financial control
• Manage subcontract procurement, negotiations, and final accounts
• Oversee variations, change control, and contractual compliance
• Provide commercial input to project strategy and decision-making
• Mentor and manage QS and Assistant QS team members
• Interface with senior internal stakeholders and clients
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior QS
• Strong background in data centres, MEP, or complex construction projects
• Excellent contractual and commercial knowledge
• Confident leader with strong stakeholder management skills
