Job Title: Commercial Manager – Major Infrastructure Project (Contract, Outside IR35)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join one of the largest infrastructure projects in Europe. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile programme shaping the future of UK infrastructure.

The successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of delivering within large-scale, complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all commercial aspects of assigned project packages.

Provide contractual and commercial support across procurement, subcontract management, and dispute resolution.

*

Ensure compliance with relevant contract terms, governance processes, and reporting requirements.

*

Work collaboratively with project teams to deliver value, manage risk, and protect project interests.

*

Provide accurate forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting to senior leadership.

Essential Requirements:

*

Chartered status (MRICS or equivalent).

*

Extensive experience as a Commercial Manager within large infrastructure projects (rail, highways, utilities, or major civils).

*

Strong understanding of NEC contracts and UK construction law.

*

Demonstrated ability to manage high-value contracts and complex stakeholder relationships.

*

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
