Commercial Manager - Cladding Remediation\n\n * Location: Leicester\n\n * Salary: Up to £100,000 + Full Package\n\n * Employer: Main Contractor\n\n * Sector: Cladding / Façade Remediation\n\nRole\n\nA leading main contractor specialising in Cladding and Façade Remediation is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team in Leicester.\n\nThis role will see you take commercial leadership across a portfolio of remediation schemes, ensuring financial control, strategic contract management, and successful commercial delivery from pre-construction through to final account.\n\nYou’ll be joining a rapidly growing, highly reputable contractor operating at the forefront of the remediation sector, offering strong career progression and long-term stability.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Lead the commercial function across multiple cladding remediation projects.\n\n * Manage cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow control.\n\n * Oversee procurement of subcontractors, materials, and specialist cladding packages.\n\n * Ensure robust contract administration including NEC/JCT forms.\n\n * Identify and manage risks, opportunities, variations, and claims.\n\n * Support project teams to ensure projects are delivered on budget and to the required commercial standards.\n\n * Prepare monthly CVRs, valuations, and financial reports for senior leadership.\n\n * Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.\n\n * Provide mentoring and guidance to QS teams as required.\n\nKey Requirements\n\n * Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior QS ready to step up.\n\n * Background working for a main contractor (essential).\n\n * Strong knowledge of cladding, façade, or remediation projects is highly desirable.\n\n * Excellent understanding of NEC or JCT forms of contract.\n\n * Strong commercial acumen with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.\n\n * Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.\n\n * Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field ().\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Up to £100,000 salary, depending on experience\n\n * Full package (car/allowance, pension, benefits)\n\n * Opportunity to join a market-leading contractor in a thriving specialist sector\n\n * Long-term career development and progression\n\n * Supportive leadership and a strong pipeline of future projects
