We are working with an esteemed international law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Property Recoveries team within their Belfast office.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a nationally recognised Commercial Litigation practice, supporting the Property Recoveries team in a range of property damage matters. The candidate’s work will span over a range of areas, including property damage defence, property damage indemnity, subrogated property, uninsured loss recoveries, and recovery of overpayments and duplicate payments.

The candidate will play a key role in advising both international and domestic insurers on property damage recoveries, providing coverage advice and defending high-value cross-border claims. The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria

• 1-5 PQE;
• Strong background in litigation and/or property damage claims;
• Excellent commercial awareness;
• Outstanding academics;
• Negotiation skills;
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
