A well-established regional law firm is seeking a Commercial Disputes Solicitor to join its growing litigation team in Leeds. This opportunity offers exposure to a varied and high-quality commercial disputes caseload, advising businesses, directors, shareholders and individuals on complex contentious matters.The team handles a broad range of disputes and is known for taking a strategic, commercially focused approach to resolving issues. Clients range from owner-managed businesses to larger companies across multiple sectors, with the team providing clear, pragmatic advice aimed at achieving the most effective outcome, whether through negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, or formal litigation where necessary.The RoleYou will manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters while working alongside experienced disputes lawyers on more complex and high-value cases. Typical work includes advising on:Contract and commercial disputesShareholder and partnership disputesProfessional negligence claimsCommercial agent and distribution disputesDirector and shareholder liability issuesContentious insolvency mattersIntellectual property-related disputesThe role will involve advising clients from the early stages of disputes through to resolution, including litigation in the High Court and County Court where required.
