As a Commercial Litigation Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in managing and leading complex commercial litigation cases. You will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice, representing clients in high-stakes disputes, and mentoring junior solicitors. This role requires a solicitor with extensive experience in commercial litigation, a strategic mindset, and exceptional leadership skills

Key Responsibilities:

– Managing a diverse caseload of complex commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, professional negligence claims, and more

– Providing strategic and commercially focused legal advice to clients

– Representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings

– Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements

– Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies

– Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

– Mentoring and supervising junior solicitors and support staff

– Contributing to business development initiatives, including networking and participating in industry events

Requirements:

– Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with a minimum of 2 PQE in commercial litigation

– Proven experience in managing high-value and complex commercial litigation cases

– Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and drafting skills

– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

– Ability to provide pragmatic and commercially sound legal advice

– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

– Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities

– Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
