This role offers exposure to a wide range of commercial legal work within a fast-paced, regulated industry. You’ll support the business in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, and help ensure legal and regulatory compliance across our operations. Your drive and ideas will help us move faster, improve smarter, and stay ahead of the game.What you’ll doYou’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including:Supplier and service agreementsMarketing and sponsorship contractsAffiliate and partnership agreementsTechnology and platform-related contractsNon-disclosure agreements/heads of termsSoftware licensing and SaaS contractsPayment services and affiliate agreementsData processing and privacy-related contractsSupport senior lawyers in contract negotiations and deal structuring.Support General Counsel with M&A due diligence and data rooms set up and operations.Liaise with internal teams (e.g. marketing, tech, procurement, compliance) to ensure contracts meet business needs.Conduct legal research and provide guidance on contract law.Help maintain and improve contract templates and legal processes.This list covers your core responsibilities – with plenty of room to stretch, explore and take on new challenges as we grow.What you’ll bringYou’re someone who brings:Clear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideasA collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross‑functional teams to hit shared goalsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ballExceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality workAdaptability – you stay sharp, productive and positive in fast‑moving environmentsUK, US or South African qualified solicitor (3+ years PQE). Other jurisdictions of qualification considered.Experience in commercial contracts, ideally gained in-house or via secondment.Exposure to the gambling, tech, or digital entertainment sectors is a plus.Strong drafting and communication skills.Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeveIt would be great if you also have some of the following skills:In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trendsPrevious experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulationsFamiliarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standardsExperience in developing and executing customer retention strategiesCommercially aware and solution-oriented.Keen interest in the gambling and digital entertainment industry.Comfortable working with cross-functional teams.Our values are non-negotiablesOur culture is underpinned by core values that are linked to key behavioural competencies.
