You will oversee the full purchasing and sales cycle, from sourcing and procurement to sales and lifecycle management, driving profitability, efficiency, and strategic growth.Lead the development and expansion of supplier networks in the United States while strengthening and maintaining strategic relationships in the UK, EU, UAE, and China.Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and corporate clients to secure competitive pricing, availability, and quality, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.Develop, implement, and maintain clear process plans for procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of IT assets.Oversee budgets of £1 million or more, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective procurement.Manage B2B relationships, fostering strong partnerships with suppliers and corporate clients to support business growth.Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and demand cycles to inform purchasing decisions and drive continuous improvement.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure IT solutions meet operational requirements and align with organizational objectives.Lead, coach, and motivate a small team to deliver consistent, measurable procurement performance and support professional development.Evaluate product specifications, including CPUs, models, screen types, and demand cycles to ensure accurate forecasting and purchasing efficiency.Oversee the procurement of enterprise-grade equipment, including servers, RAID systems, SAS drives, switches, and racks.Ensure full compliance with WEEE, export, and data-bearing device regulations, upholding the highest standards of sustainability, security, and accountability.Drive commercial growth by identifying new market opportunities, developing strategic sourcing initiatives, and contributing to long-term business objectives.Main requirements for the successfulCommercial Lead:Proven commercial experiencein IT hardware, including laptops, desktops, servers, and networking equipment.Strong technical understandingof IT products, configurations, and lifecycle management.Experience in procurement and sales cycles, with a track record of managing large.B2B expertise, including vendor negotiations, supplier management, and building corporate client relationships.Strategic mindset, able to develop and implement process plans, forecast demand, and drive continuous improvement.Leadership experience, with the ability to lead, coach, and motivate a small team to deliver high performance.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, approachable and professional, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.Analytical and results-driven, capable of evaluating market trends, product specifications, and purchasing efficiency.Flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment across multiple regions and contacts in USA.Customer-focused and commercially aware, with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.What we offer to the successfulCommercial Lead:Salary starts £50,000 +depending on experienceGenerous performance-based bonus schemeMonday to Friday Hybrid working, with preference for on-site presence.Clear progression planfor professional and career growth within a key industry sector.Support for continued education and professional development.Dynamic, fast-growing international environment.Pension, holiday allowance, and insurance cover.Regular company events and team activities.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of aninnovative, forward-thinking organisationthat values talent, fosters career progression, and empowers its team to make a real impact on the global stage.
