The company is a specialist power systems engineering business with over two decades of experience delivering generator hire, installation, maintenance and backup power solutions for commercial and industrial clients. Working across a wide range of sectors, the company provides tailored power solutions including fixed generator installations, temporary power systems, electrical distribution, cabling, fuel systems, load bank testing and associated electrical infrastructure.
Due to continued growth, the company is now looking for an experienced Electrician to join the team. This role will focus on industrial and commercial electrical installations of generators and their associated electrical systems.
Package
* 40 hour working week with overtime available at 1.5x & 2x rates
* Basic salary of £40,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience)
* Monday to Friday working pattern

Responsibilities
* Carry out industrial and commercial electrical installations on generator systems and associated power equipment.
* Install, terminate, test and commission electrical cabling, distribution equipment and control systems connected to generator installations.
* Work on temporary and permanent generator projects, including backup power systems and bespoke power solutions.
* Complete electrical testing, inspection, fault finding and remedial works to a high standard.
* Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
* Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with current electrical regulations and site requirements.
* Liaise with engineers, project teams, clients and other trades to ensure installations are delivered smoothly.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, and any issues identified on site.
What we are looking for
* Previous experience as an Electrician within industrial, commercial or power generation environments.
* Strong knowledge of electrical installations, distribution systems, cabling, containment and control wiring.
* 2391-52 Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification is preferred.
* Experience working with generators, backup power systems, AMF panels, switchgear or temporary power would be beneficial.
* Strong fault-finding skills and a practical, safety-focused approach to work.
* Full UK driving licence.
