*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our small team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with a comprehensive understanding of heating systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating systems in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations. *Responsibilities* * Maintenance and repair of biomass boilers from 15-500kw including fuel feed systems. * Maintenance and repair of oil fired boilers * Install and maintain heating systems, including boilers, heat meters, heat exchangers, pumps, accumulators, expansion vessels, etc. * Conduct regular inspections and servicing of heating equipment to ensure efficiency and safety. * Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating systems, providing effective solutions. * Assemble components using hand tools and power tools as required. * Perform plumbing tasks related to heating installations. * Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used using our app based job sheet software * Collaborate professionally with customers and suppliers * Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on site. *Experience* The successful candidate will have: * Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role. * Experience with biomass and/or oil fired boilers is highly desirable. * OFTEC qualifications advantageous. * Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various heating systems. * Experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is advantageous. * A valid commercial driving licence is required We welcome applications from individuals who are eager to contribute their skills in a dynamic environment while ensuring the highest standards of service are met.
