This national presence ensures strong operational support and efficient response times.Diverse Sector ExposureYou'll gain experience across a varied portfolio including commercial offices, public sector buildings, industrial sites, and housing contracts — offering job security and technical variety.The RoleThe primary focus of the role is to carry out servicing, maintenance, installation, and reactive works within commercial gas environments.Key ResponsibilitiesServicing and maintenance of commercial heating systems and boilersInstallation and fault-finding across heating systems and domestic hot & cold water systemsInstallation of heating plant, domestic water plant, and water heatersPipework installation (water, gas, air and associated systems)Use of press-fit toolsReactive repairs and preventative maintenanceWorking collaboratively with other trades on-siteEnsuring full compliance with health & safety and building regulationsCompleting job reports and documentation accuratelyPreparing materials lists and supporting apprentices where requiredParticipation in the on-call rota to provide emergency supportCarrying out additional duties in line with business needsSkills & Experience RequiredNVQ Level 2 or 3 in PlumbingValid Commercial Gas Qualifications: COCN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, ICPN1ALPG qualification (desirable)OFTEC 101, 105E & 600A (desirable)Unvented Hot Water Storage certificationStrong fault-finding abilityGood understanding of H&S policies and proceduresProfessional, customer-focused approachStrong communication and reporting skillsFull UK Driving LicenceSalary & Benefits£43,000 - £45,000 SalaryOTE £55,000+Company Diesel Van + Fuel CardPension SchemeCore Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (30-minute lunch)On-Call: 1 in 16 (approx. 2-4 weeks per year)Unlimited Overtime AvailableAdditional company benefitsFor more information, contact Tom on 07908 947467JBRP1_UKTJ
