Commercial Gas Engineer
Job Description

Commissioning, servicing, and maintaining gas fired Combined Heat and Power (CHP) units and related components, heat pumps, electric boilers, heat interface units.
Fault finding and surveying commercial heating installations and systems in a variety of sectors (hotels, schools, nursing homes).
Communicating professionally and courteously with clients and delivering a first in class service.
Generating accurate and timely site reports within the CRM system.
Participating in manufacturer and in-house CPD training to achieve the industry recognised qualifications required to carry out the role to the highest standards.
Adhering to Health and Safety regulations and working safely at all times.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

A good working knowledge of the combustion process and correct commissioning and set up (combustion analyser) of gas appliances and burners to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Experience of providing commercial gas and heating site support.
A technical aptitude, with an interest in low carbon technologies.
Current commercial gas ACS certificates and be registered with the Gas Safe Register
COCN1 (core commercial natural gas safety) and CIGA1 (commercial gas fired heating appliances & equipment).
