Recruit4staff are representing a well-established building services provider in their search for a Commercial Gas Engineer to work in Manchester Job Details: Pay: £42,000 per annum Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Duration: Permanent Benefits: Continued development support, company car/van with personal use and fuel card, £150 float, trade card, 31 days holiday (increasing to 33 after 5 years), company sick pay, regular company socials, 5.7% employer pension contribution, free parking at some sites, £750 staff referral scheme, birthday voucher. Job Role: The Commercial Gas Engineer will work across various commercial and industrial client sites delivering fault-finding, service, maintenance, and breakdown support for heating and ventilation systems. Responsibilities include working on boilers, burners, radiant heaters, air handling units (AHUs), and related equipment. The role involves attending emergency call-outs, completing statutory PPMs in line with SFG20 standards, maintaining accurate records (both electronic and written), updating site log books, and managing subcontractors as needed. Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications: Commercial gas service & maintenance experience FM PPM tasks, such as fire alarm checks
