Job Title: Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Preston Area (covering Manchester and surrounding areas)
Salary: £45,000 per annum + overtime & benefits
Contract Type: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established facilities management team, working on prison service contracts across the Preston and Manchester regions. This role offers stability, excellent benefits, and long-term career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas and oil-fired heating & ventilation systems.
  • Ensure all work is carried out to current regulations and safety standards.
  • Use CAFM systems to manage and record maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.
  • Travel between sites as required (company van provided).

Requirements:

  • In-date Commercial Gas Safe qualifications (essential).
  • Experience working within prison environments (must hold or be able to obtain CTC clearance).
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems.
  • OFTEC qualification advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence.
