Job Title: Commercial Gas Service Engineer
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: £50,000 DOE
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Field-based with regional travel (South East)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Service Engineer to join a growing and professional building services business. The role will involve carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, and repair works across a range of commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on commercial gas boilers, heating systems, and associated plant
*
Undertake servicing, safety inspections, and fault-finding on a variety of commercial gas appliances
*
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Gas Safe regulations, health & safety requirements, and company standards
*
Accurately complete service reports, certification, and job documentation
*
Respond to breakdowns efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
*
Liaise professionally with clients, site contacts, and internal teams
*
Participate in a call-out rota as required
*
Maintain company-issued tools, vehicle, PPE, and equipment
Skills & Experience Required
*
Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Commercial Gas Service Engineer
*
Valid commercial gas qualifications (e.g. COCN1, CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or equivalent)
*
Must be Gas Safe registered with appropriate commercial endorsements
*
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on commercial heating and boiler systems
*
Full UK driving licence
*
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
*
Strong communication and customer service skills
*
Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach to work
