Job DescriptionMobile Commercial Gas Engineer - Central Belt - Salary up to £48,000
CBW are looking for a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to carry out maintenance and reactive work for a leading facilities provider. The role will be covering the Central Belt of Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:
\n
Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time.
\n
Carry out reactive tasks throughout the sites
\n
Complete all relevant paperwork for PPM, reactive and breakdown works
\n
Update customers CAFM system in real time
\n
Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order.
\n
Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works.
\n
Undertake Point of Work Risk Assessment prior to starting work
\n
Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance.
\n
Participate in the teams oncall rota and be available for overtime
\n
Person Specification:
\n
A recognised industry qualification will be required, and previous experience is essential.
\n
Appropriate Combustion/Gas/Oil Qualifications essential
\n
Trade qualified Combustion Engineer with appropriate post apprenticeship experience desirable.
\n
Must have a full clean drivers’ licence.
\n
Legionella awareness (preferable – can provide training)
\n
Asbestos awareness (preferable but not essential)
\n
MEWP Licence (preferable but not essential)
\n
First aid trained (preferable but not essential)
\n
Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
\n
Able to work as part of a team
\n
Flexible and adaptable to change
\n
Must be available to participate in an out of hour’s standby rota.
\n
Salary & Benefits:

Salary up to £48,000 DOE
\n
25 days annual leave (+ public holidays)
\n
