About The Role
As Commercial Finance Director APAC, MEA & LATAM, you will act as a strategic finance leader and business partner, driving performance, profitability and long-term value creation across multiple high-growth international markets. This is a highly visible leadership role that requires strong commercial acumen, advanced financial expertise, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across a complex global organisation.
Responsibilities
Act as a strategic Commercial Finance partner to senior commercial and operational leaders, influencing decision-making and driving business performance
Lead financial planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning) across APAC, MEA & LATAM
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights to improve profitability and support strategic objectives
Support and challenge commercial decisions, including pricing, market access, investments and portfolio optimisation
Deliver robust financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives, market expansion and product lifecycle decisions
Evaluate and challenge business cases, investments and strategic proposals, ensuring strong ROI and alignment to company strategy
Provide detailed variance analysis, identifying performance drivers, risks and opportunities with clear recommendations
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations to embed financial discipline
Develop and implement KPIs, dashboards and performance metrics to drive transparency and accountability
Monitor revenue, margins, cost base and operational efficiencies, identifying opportunities for value creation
Support new product launches, licensing deals and market entry strategies through financial insight and modelling
Deliver high-quality management reporting and executive insights to senior leadership
Contribute to M&A activity, including due diligence, integration and performance tracking
Ensure strong financial governance, controls and compliance (IFRS/UK GAAP where applicable)
Qualifications
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
Extensive experience in commercial finance / FP&A / business partnering roles
Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders in a global environment
Strong expertise in financial modelling, scenario planning and strategic analysis
Demonstrated success supporting commercial decision-making and revenue growth
Experience operating across international / multi-region markets
Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting and performance management
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Exposure to multi-entity, global organisations
Knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP
Experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences or healthcare sectors
