An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Finance Analyst to join a high-performing finance team within a leading law firm. This role sits at the heart of commercial decision-making and offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders, including Partners and business leaders.You will play a key role in providing high-quality financial reporting and insightful analysis to support strategic and commercially focused decisions across the business. This is a broad, analytical role combining regular reporting with ad hoc analysis, financial modelling, and involvement in wider finance and pricing initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild strong working relationships with Partners and senior stakeholders to support their understanding of financial performance and commercial drivers.Prepare and deliver monthly performance reports, KPIs, and management information packs.Analyse financial results and trends, translating data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.Take ownership of reporting cubes (revenue, general ledger, profitability), including maintenance of budget uploads.Produce ad hoc financial models, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis as required.Support the budgeting and forecasting process through modelling revenue trends and resource capacity.Contribute to wider finance projects, including the expansion of pricing and commercial support across the business.Support the development and continuous improvement of reporting and analytical capabilities within the finance teamAbout You1-2 years' experience in a commercially focused analytical role, ideally within professional services.Part-qualified or qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent), or strong relevant experience.Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and the ability to manipulate and analyse large data sets.Experience working with reporting platforms, BI tools, or financial systems.Strong communication skills, with the confidence to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
