Manchester-based | 4 days office / 1 day WFH

We’re partnered with a branded and private label FMCG snacking business that’s searching for a Commercial Director to lead the UK operation. The portfolio is genuinely impressive, multiple brands across a range of product categories, with some enjoying global recognition.

The UK business is currently turning over £35m, with a clear and ambitious plan to double in size. Growth isn’t limited to existing customers either, this business is constantly exploring new territories and channels while already working with all Top 6 retailers. Despite this, there remains significant headroom within those accounts.

The team? Absolutely solid in skillset, but I need someone who wants to not just get their hands dirty but someone who wants to develop and grow a team. This role is all about strategy and leadership.

This is a true leadership and strategy role. You’ll own the full UK commercial agenda, driving sustainable growth while developing and elevating an already capable team. The team is strong from a capability perspective what’s needed now is a Commercial Director who wants to:

  • Lead, coach and develop senior commercial talent
  • Identify and unlock new channels, customers and territories
  • Play a key role in shaping the long-term direction of the business

Yes, you’ll still need to roll your sleeves up, but this role is far more about direction, leadership and impact than day to day account firefighting.
