TITLE: AFTERSALES MANAGER

SALARY: Est' £75,000 - £85,000 per annum + benefits

THE ROLE:
This is a senior aftersales leadership position within a growing B2B automotive environment. You will have full operational responsibility for the workshop, parts operation, and customer-facing aftersales activity, ensuring fleet customers receive consistently high levels of service, reliability, and vehicle availability.
The role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on management. Close collaboration with sales and fleet stakeholders is essential to ensure the aftersales function actively supports wider commercial objectives while delivering against defined operational and financial KPIs.
DUTIES:
The role is responsible for maximising workshop productivity, increasing parts revenue, maintaining strong customer satisfaction levels, and delivering agreed financial targets. Acting as a key interface between sales, customers, and technical operations, the role ensures a smooth and efficient aftersales journey for B2B fleet clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic & Operational Leadership:
Lead day-to-day operations across the workshop, body repairs, and parts departments Plan capacity, manage technician resources, and improve workflow efficiency to reduce vehicle off-road time Ensure all servicing and repair work meets manufacturer requirements, UK safety standards, and regulatory expectationsFinancial Management:
Deliver aftersales performance in line with revenue, margin, and warranty recovery targets Manage departmental budgets, monitor costs, and review performance data to drive continuous improvement Oversee manufacturer warranty submissions to ensure accurate and timely recoveryCustomer Relationship Management:
Serve as a senior point of contact for fleet and B2B customers on all aftersales-related matters Take a proactive approach to maintenance planning to support uptime and prevent avoidable failures Handle escalated customer issues promptly, ensuring satisfactory resolutionTeam Management:
Lead and develop service advisors, technicians, and parts personnel Drive productivity, engagement, and performance through clear objectives and coaching Identify skills gaps and coordinate technical or product training aligned to evolving vehicle technologiesParts & Inventory:
Maintain optimal parts availability while controlling stock levels and associated costs Work closely with the parts function to align inventory strategy with regional fleet demandREQUIREMENTS
Demonstrable experience in a senior Aftersales Manager or Service Manager role within a B2B automotive or commercial vehicle setting Strong working knowledge of workshop operations, parts supply chains, and warranty processes Background within a dealership or authorised repair environment is advantageous Commercially astute with proven experience managing budgets, KPIs, and profitability Confident people leader with a practical, customer-oriented approach Full UK driving licence
