A client in the energy and industrial decarbonization sector is seeking a Commercial Associate to join the team. You will lead the commercial workstream of a major clean fuels project, focusing on market positioning, stakeholder engagement, and carbon credit opportunities. The role involves collaborating closely with technical teams to align commercial and technical objectives and reporting to senior project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial strategy for market entry and positioning
• Engage with off-takers and stakeholders to secure partnerships
• Analyse carbon credit opportunities and develop proposals for European markets
• Oversee PMO activities for the commercial workstream
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment of objectives
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior stakeholders

Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience in commercial strategy or PMO roles from top-tier consultancy
• Strong understanding of energy markets and carbon credit mechanisms
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams effectively
