This senior in-house role offers hybrid working and strategic influence at executive level.Commercial Property Solicitor at internal General CounselUK-based- Hybrid with UK TravelFull-time, permanent positionSalary £70,000 - £90,000 per annumPlease note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UKTransforming PLC is a UK-based organisation delivering high-quality, safe and sustainable homes and environments that support operational teams and the people who use their services.The Group Legal team provides strategic legal support across construction projects, commercial contracting and property transactions, helping manage legal risk and support strong governance across the organisation.The RoleThis General Counsel position provides strategic legal leadership across construction, commercial and property matters, acting as a trusted adviser to the Executive Team and Board while ensuring robust governance, risk management and compliant project delivery.Key Responsibilities:Provide legal leadership across construction, commercial contracts and property lawDraft and negotiate JCT / NEC construction contracts and commercial agreementsAdvise on property transactions, leases and due diligenceManage legal risk, governance and compliance processesLead dispute resolution and external legal counsel managementDevelop legal templates, contract processes and staff trainingThe Ideal CandidateYou will be a qualified solicitor with strong experience across construction, commercial and property law, able to provide pragmatic legal advice while supporting business objectives.
