Pay: Up to £27,000.00 per year Job Description nb no working from home all office based Part-Time Account Manager - Legal Sector (Credit Control) Skelmersdale - Office Based 9:00am-5:00pm (25 hours + per week) £27,000 Pro-Rata + Monthly Bonus +- £500 per month The Role We are recruiting a professional, articulate and experienced Account Manager / Credit Controller to manage outstanding debt within a legal and professional services environment. This is not a high-volume call centre role. The successful candidate must have previously worked within a solicitors' practice or professional legal organisation and understand the standards, tone and confidentiality expected in that environment. You will be responsible for:
Managing outstanding invoices within a legal portfolio Liaising professionally with commercial clients Handling sensitive financial conversations Maintaining written correspondence of a high professional standard Negotiating structured repayment arrangements where appropriate Ensuring accurate system updates and audit compliance
Essential Requirements
✔ Previous experience working within a solicitors' firm or professional legal organisation ✔ Experience in credit control or debt recovery within a professional environment ✔ Confident handling sensitive financial discussions ✔ Strong written and verbal communication skills ✔ Comfortable working in an office-based, structured environment
