Our Visitor Centre at Belwade Farm in Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, is looking to recruit a Coffee Shop Supervisor to assist the Centre Manager and Visitor Centre Officer with the smooth running of the kitchen and coffee shop every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 8.30am to 5pm.

Main duties and responsibilities:
/n
/n - Supervise Coffee Shop staff under the guidance of the Centre Manager. /n - Work with the Senior Centre Promotions Officer on the range of food offered to ensure the maximum return on investment. /n - Prepare, serve and present café-style food to a high standard. /n - Ensure the constant cleanliness of all kitchen and coffee shop fixtures, fittings, utensils, appliances and public facilities within the shop complex. /n - Responsible for stock levels of all consumables and cleaning goods ensuring the smooth running of the Coffee Shop area. /n - Authorisation is required from the Centre Manager for all non-essential purchases. /n - Maintain accurate records of all purchases. /n - Comply with all Health& Safety/Food & Hygiene legislation and guidelines within the Coffee Shop area. /n

About you:
/n
You will have previous experience supervising a café-style kitchen or similar and preparing and serving a basic range of coffee shop food. Excellent communication skills, knowledge of food hygiene, and the ability to work well under pressure are all essential. If you have a Level 2 Food Safety certificate that would be ideal, although training will be provided if not. An ability to bake would be advantageous.
