Codification Engineer

Our client has an opportunity for a Codification Engineer to join them on a contract basis for 12 months. You will be supporting the codification process of codifying assemblies and components in accordance with the MoD process standards that define codification requirements.
Role: Codification Engineer Location: Stevenage, 1-2 days per week onsite Hours: 37 per week Hourly Rate: £35-£45 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35 Clearance: BPSS required to start, full SC to follow. UK Eyes Only due to project
What you'll be doing:
To support the UK projects in the NATO Stock Number (NSN) codification process of codifying assemblies and components in accordance with the MoD process standards that define codification requirements SSCP47, JSP886 Vol 2 CH 4 and DEFCON 117 Co-ordination and management & maintaining NSN codification configuration with SAP part numbers and technical information Act as the focal point of contact to the MoD for NSN codification Provide codification support change process. Support NATO codification using the Codification Support Information System (CSIS) - UK National Codification Bureau Utilisation of Matrix/PLM database - our in-house engineering and item configuration tool.
