Are you a skilled CNC Vertical Borer available immediately for work? Join one the UK’s specialist engineering company.

We need the candidate to have a strong mechanical knowledge and that can work manual Vertical Borer machines. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for fabricating components and ensuring they meet the required specifications

The Job

* Operate vertical boring machines to produce high-quality components

* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in fabrication

* Perform milling operations as necessary, ensuring adherence to safety protocols

* Conduct materials handling and assembly tasks as part of the production process

* Use hand tools effectively for adjustments and repairs on machinery

* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations

* Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality

About you

* Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or a related field

* Familiarity with Webster Bennetts machines would be desirable but not essential

* Previous warehouse experience is an asset, particularly in materials handling and assembly tasks

* Be able to operate manual machines such as vertical borer, lathes, mills and grinders to machine precision parts

* Knowledge of welding techniques is beneficial but not essential

The company

* An established successful manufacturer based in Bury

* Hourly rate of £15-17ph depending on experience

* Free onsite parking

* Hours of work Monday to Friday 7am -4pm and Friday 7am-12pm
