Prime Appointments is recruiting an experienced CNC Turner to join a modern, well-equipped precision engineering company producing high-quality components for a range of industries.

The Role

You'll be working within a modern machine shop, producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances across a range of materials and batch sizes.

Duties will include:

Setting and operating CNC fixed-head lathes (single & double turret)
Working with Fanuc controls (editing and/or programming)
Selecting tooling and setting machines from engineering drawings
Proving out programs and producing first-off components
Running production to required quantities and quality standards
Carrying out in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment
Completing QA documentation and maintaining high standards

What We're Looking For

Experience setting and operating CNC lathes (essential)
Experience with Fanuc controls (editing or programming)
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Confident carrying out basic inspection and quality checks
Previous experience in a precision engineering environmentProgramming experience is beneficial, but strong setters/operators with editing experience are also encouraged to apply.

Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Friday: 9:00am - 4:00pm
