If youre currently a CNC Turner Setter Operator using Fanuc controls (or similar with G-code / M-code experience) and want to step up into offline programming and CADCAM, this is a genuine progression opportunity not just another turning role.

Youll join a well-established precision engineering business investing heavily in modern CNC lathes, sub-spindle technology and engineer development, with a structured 5-year training plan to take you from Setter Operator to Programmer.

What youll be doing

Setting and operating CNC lathes (2-axis, multi-axis or sub-spindle)

Working with Fanuc controls (or similar G-code / M-code essential)

Learning CNC programming (online & offline)

Training into CADCAM / offline programming

Working from complex engineering drawings

Editing and proving out programs

Supporting tooling, processes and continuous improvement

Inspecting your own work to tight tolerances

What theyre looking for

CNC Turner Setter Operator experience

Strong CNC lathe experience (Fanuc preferred other controls considered)

Experience editing programs (G-code / M-code)

Experience with sub-spindle machines (advantageous)

Keen to progress into programming and CADCAM

Able to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
