Job Profile As a CNC Machinist (CNC Turner) on the late shift, you will program, set and operate 2-axis CNC lathes to produce high-precision components. This is a hands-on role requiring strong drawing interpretation skills, attention to detail and experience working to tight tolerances across a range of materials. Duties Program, set and operate 2-axis CNC turning machines Write and edit programs at the machine using Fanuc (G-Code / Manual Guide i) Set tooling, materials, feeds and speeds Carry out in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment Produce low to medium volume components to tight tolerances Machine a variety of metals, including larger components (hoist training provided) Maintain high standards of quality and continuous improvement Skills & Attributes Time-served CNC Turner / CNC Machinist Strong experience programming, setting and operating 2-axis CNC lathes Confident with Fanuc controls, G-code and Manual Guide i Excellent engineering drawing and tolerance interpretation Self-motivated, quality-focused and able to work independently Experience machining a range of metals Education / Certificates Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience preferred Hours of Work Day or Night shifts available Days: Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm, Friday 8am - 2.30pm Nights: Monday to Wednesday 4:30pm 3:30am, Thursday 4:30pm 1:30am Interested?
