CNC Turner Location: Coventry Salary: £20 p.h DOE Hours: 38 hours based on double day shift
Overview: We're working with a well-established and highly regarded engineering business that is actively seeking a skilled CNC Turner for their lathe machines. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner to join a professional team within a modern, clean, and well-run facility. A CNC Machinist is a skilled technician who sets up and operates computer-controlled machines to create precision parts from materials like steel, aluminium and titanium. A CNC machinist typically has the expertise to program, calibrate, and troubleshoot the equipment.
Key Responsibilities of CNC Turner:
Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning/lathe machines. Working with FANUC controls, knowing G codes is required Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings. Setting tools, understanding cutting speeds and feeds, and carrying out boring, drilling, and threading operations. Ensuring high levels of accuracy and consistency while working to tight tolerances.
