We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Turner to work in Southampton, this role will involve setting operating and some programming.

The ideal candidate will have some programming from scratch experience, however candidates with any form of programming skillsmay also be considered.

Job Description and Duties:

To set and operate a CNC Lathe to produce components to specifications.
Programming online and developing and modifying CNC programs
Using Fanuc controls
Reading engineering drawings and understanding ISO tolerances
Identifying and resolving issues or malfunctions in theprocess.
Performing routine maintenance on CNC machines.
Working to safety processes and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Ensuring delivery dates / internal milestones are met set by the management team.

The Ideal CNC Turner:

Will be confident in setting and operating CNC lathes.,
Have Fanuc experience or similar transferable controls.
On-line programming from scratch would be preferred but candidates with any form of programming skillsmay also be considered.

Hours:Day Shift 7.30 - 16.00 Monday to Thursday, 7.30 - 15.00 Fridays

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 Plus bonus.
