Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a skilled NVQ Engineering Toolmaker (CNC) to join a forward-thinking manufacturing team. This hands-on role focuses on precision toolmaking to tight tolerances, supporting production agility, equipment reliability, and site safety. The role ensures tools are manufactured to exacting standards and delivered on time, enabling the business to respond rapidly to new orders and designs while maintaining high quality and efficiency.
Key Duties
Manufacture and refurbish high-precision, low-tolerance tooling to technical drawings using manual and CNC workshop equipment, including XYZ ProTrak machines. Collaborate with design teams to interpret engineering drawings and develop new tooling solutions. Provide timely, creative engineering solutions to manufacturing challenges. Propose and implement innovations to improve tooling and production processes. Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environment, adhering to safety protocols.
