CNC Setter Operator Location: Uckfield, TN22 1QL Salary: £32,000 per annum + Benefits! The CNC Setter Operator is responsible for operating and programming high/low volume CNC machines to produce high-precision parts and components according to technical drawings and specifications. This role involves setting up CNC machines, running tests and ensuring that all produced parts meet quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities of the CNC Setter Operator role: * Produce components either as a one off or a large batch to a high and precise specification and accuracy. * Set and operate CNC machinery and order appropriate tooling that may be required to complete scheduled jobs. * Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity. * Perform self-first off and final inspection of own and other staffs manufactured components. * General cleaning, sorting and tidying of the machine shop. * Create change request forms for any alteration/additions to components being made. * Cleaning out and stripping down machines after use. * Assembly and packing of finished components in machine shop. * Preparation of components to be sent to subcontractor for welding, plating or painting. * Provide cover for members of team e.g. work on manual machin...
