Role: CNC Service EngineerLocation: Field BasedSalary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experienceOur client is looking for a CNC Service Engineer to join their field service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing CNC machine ensuring high standards of performance and reliability for their customers.This is a customer facing role requiring strong technical ability, problem-solving skills, and the ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.Responsibilities include:Carry out scheduled maintenance of CNC machines in accordance with internal servicing standardsVisit customer sites to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs on CNC machineryProvide timely and professional technical support to minimise machine downtimeMaintain accurate service records and complete required documentationDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and customersSupport continuous improvement of service processes and customer satisfactionWork both independently in the field and collaboratively with internal engineering teamsSkills and experience:Skilled Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Disciplined EngineerStrong experience working with CNC machine tools or similar industrial equipmentSolid fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsExcellent communication and customer service skillsSelf-motivated, reliable, and able to manage your own workloadFull UK driving licence requiredWR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
