Position: CNC Programmer

Salary: £40000 to £44000 per annum

Working hours: double days

We are now seeking to recruit a CNC Programmer to work for a bespoke manufacturing company based in Gloucester. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for the machining of moulds and tooling and producing programs using online conversational control / offline CAD/CAM.

Job Description:

To set, operate and program CNC machines with minimum supervision. Editing and writing programs using Mazatrol and Heidenhain control or any other appropriate software when necessary. Analysing and producing surfaces, add or delete surfaces. Product Geometry 2D/3D to allow creation of cutter paths. Be able to work from engineering drawings. Be competent in the use of appropriate engineering tools such as micrometres and verniers. Be able to work on own initiative to produce high quality engineered components, batch work & one offs using a range of materials. Compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff. Person Specification:
