CNC Programmer – Mechanical Workshop Refurbishment

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a leading engineering workshop specializing in mechanical service and refurbishment. You will play a key role in the maintenance, repair, and programming of advanced machinery while ensuring precision and quality for a wide range of industrial customers.

Key Responsibilities

Program and operate CNC equipment including vertical grinders and countersink machines.
Conduct mechanical refurbishment of rolls, dies, and other components.
Dismantle, inspect, and reassemble mechanical parts, including replacement of bearings and other components.
Interpret and work from technical and composite drawings.
Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency within the workshop.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and exceptional service to clients.
Required Skills & Experience

Proven mechanical skills, with experience in machining or mechanical service environments.
Strong CNC programming skills and practical knowledge of machine shop operations.
Hands-on experience with measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, calipers).
Understanding of gearboxes, bearings, sealings, and lubricants.
Competent in using Microsoft Office and basic workshop software tools.
Blacksmith or machining experience is highly advantageous.
