We're working with a forward-thinking automotive component manufacturer based in Witham, looking to expand their expert Machine Shop team. They are seeking a CAD/CAM CNC Programmer to support the production of high-quality components and tooling, working on 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines using Hypermill (training can be provided-pay may vary accordingly).

Key Responsibilities:

Program 3-axis VMCs (with optional 4th/5th rotary tables) and 5-axis UMCs for one-off and low-volume production.

Generate accurate, efficient CNC programs using Hypermill or equivalent CAM software (PowerMILL, MasterCAM, Fusion 360, EdgeCAM).

Design custom fixtures using CAD for single-part and production use.

Collaborate with shop floor engineers to refine and optimise machining processes.

Provide DFM input to the design team for complex jobs.

Share expertise and mentor apprentices within the team.
