CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator - Large Turning Cell - Liverpool
Mploy Group is recruiting on behalf of a precision engineering firm in Liverpool, seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to join their Large Turning Cell. You’ll be machining bespoke, large-scale components (up to 3.2m), using advanced CNC lathes with live tooling, programmable steadies, and C & Y axis capabilities.
What You’ll Need:
*
Strong experience with Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes
*
Confident in programming, setting, and operating
*
Skilled in working with engineering drawings and exotic alloys
*
2+ years in a similar precision machining environment
*
NVQ Level 3 Qualified
Nice to Have:
*
Doosan lathe experience
*
CAM software (e.g., OneCNC)
*
Knowledge of C & Y axis, valve/pump components, and sectors like oil & gas or nuclear
