CNC Press Brake Operative

Location: Maldon Job Type: Permanent

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CNC Press Brake Operative for a busy fabrication workshop. This role involves producing parts to engineering drawings, operating machinery, and supporting day-to-day fabrication operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Production of parts to drawings, or assisting others in part production

· Operating shear, CNC punch, CNC press brake, notcher, and similar machinery

· Working alongside the fabrication team

· Maintaining a clean and tidy workshop

· Packing and delivering goods to another site using the company vehicle

· Supporting all aspects of operations within a busy sheet metal fabrication environment

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

· Experience working with sheet metal machinery in a production environment or demonstrable transferable skills

· Ability to work unsupervised

· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

· Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks

· Ability to work effectively within a small team

· Full UK driving licence required

Working Pattern & Benefits

· Hours: Monday – Thursday 07:00 – 16:00, Friday 07:00 – 12:00

· Salary: £33,000 per year

· Benefits: In-house and external training provided
