As this role will involve communicating directly with other departments within RHM, good communication skills and fluency in English are paramount. Over time, you will be expected to develop an understanding and knowledge of the materials, substrates and processes we use. The nature of the business means that there will be times where we are working to short deadlines and at little notice, so we require a candidate who is able to be flexible and sometimes work beyond our usual office hours of 9am to 5:30pm.

About you

Our strong preference would be to find someone who has at least six months prior experience of working either in a dedicated CNC department or working with a CNC machine, ideally on an Konsgburg, Esko or Zund within a print environment. We will consider candidates who do not have this experience and full training will be offered regardless of experience, both at our supplier’s training facility and ongoing on-the-job training. It is important that you are enthusiastic and a quick learner, as well as someone who will be able to quickly adapt to our working processes and methods. In addition to this, you will be a stickler for detail, able to work with minimal supervision and be someone who can keep a cool head under pressure whilst prioritising projects with varying degrees of importance. Any interest in the print and/or events industry would also be beneficial.

As we are a close-knit company who take pride in having very little staff turnover, we put an extra emphasis on picking the right person for the role rather than simply choosing the strongest CV. We do therefore welcome applications from candidates whose background might not be from within the print industry, but who can demonstrate an appetite to carve out a career with us and who we feel would be a positive fit for the company.
