Shift Allowances & Hourly Rates:

06:00 – 14:15: +20% (£20.71/hr)
14:00 – 22:15: +30% (£22.48/hr)
22:00 – 06:15: +40% (£24.16/hr)
Are you a skilled CNC Machinist looking for your next engineering opportunity? Our prestigious client, a leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking experienced CNC Machinists with a milling focus to join their Rochdale team. Key Responsibilities:

Operate and set up CNC machines to produce high-quality components to specification
Work with technical drawings and ensure precision in all manufacturing processes
Write and amend CNC programs as needed
Support and train team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in line with Health & Safety regulations
Flexibility to work across rotating shifts or fixed nights, including overtime when required
Essential Skills & Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or completed apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering
Proficiency in manual milling and turning
Extensive CNC machining experience, ideally with Fanuc or Heidenhain controls
Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards
Employee Benefits:

37-hour standard workweek
Overtime opportunities:
Monday – Friday @ 1.33x
Saturday @ 1.5x
Sunday @ 2.0x
1.5x for 10+ hours worked Monday–Saturday
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
