About the Role

Work Lyf Group are seeking a skilledCNC Milling Machiniston behalf of our client in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area. The ideal candidate will be experienced inprogramming, setting, and operating 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centres, with confidence using multiple control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines.
• Set machines for both existing production jobs and new job setups.
• Work with Heidenhain, Siemens, Mazatrol, and Fanuc controls.
• Read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality.
• Support continuous improvement within the machining process.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Proven CNC Milling Machinist experience.
• Knowledge of 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centres.
• Experience with Heidenhain, Siemens, Mazatrol, and Fanuc.
• Offline programming/CADCAM skills(advantageous).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
