CNC Miller Location: Andover Salary: £15 – £20 per hour (DOE)

Overview Holt Engineering are working with a leading precision engineering company in Andover who are looking to add skilled CNC Millers to their growing team. Supplying high‑quality components to a variety of industries, the business has recently secured a major automotive contract and is expanding its machining team.

Responsibilities

Set and operate CNC machining centres (Mazak, Heidenhain, Fanuc).

Edit CNC programs as required to achieve precision specifications.

Manufacture high‑quality components to tight tolerances.

Carry out quality checks to ensure parts meet required standards.

Maintain production targets and deadlines.

Collaborate with colleagues to meet output goals.

Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines.

Requirements

Previous CNC machining experience (Mazak, Heidenhain, or Fanuc preferred).

Confident with offsets and tooling changes.

Strong knowledge of machining principles, methods, and materials.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

High attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.

Flexibility to work overtime when required.
