Collide Technical is workign with a well-established and highly respected precision engineering company based in New Milton is seeking an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer (Heidenhain) to join their skilled team.

The Role

You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls, producing precision components to exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Programming CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls (online/offline)

* Setting and operating 3/4/5-axis CNC mills

* Interpreting engineering drawings and producing components to tight tolerances

* Selecting appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds

* Conducting in-process inspection using measuring equipment

* Problem-solving and making programme adjustments to optimise efficiency

* Working independently while maintaining high quality standards

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Programmer

* Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls

* Ability to programme from scratch

* Experience working within a precision engineering environment

* Confident reading technical drawings

* Self-motivated with a proactive approach
