CNC Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator (CAD/CAM Training)

* Days with Some flexibility around start and finish times

* Permanent | £18.00-£22.00 per hour DOE + Overtime

We are working in partnership with a well-established precision engineering company on the outskirts of Redditch, looking to add an experienced CNC Miller to their team due to continued growth.

This is a hands-on role covering programming, setting and operating on both horizontal and vertical machining centres, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.

CNC Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator The Role

* Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines

* Working with Fanuc controls

* Editing and proving out programs at the machine

* Producing components to tight tolerances and specifications

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Carrying out in-process inspection and quality checks

* Supporting improvements in cycle times and machining efficiency

* Working across small batch, one-offs and repeat work

CNC Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator Requirements

* Proven experience as a CNC Miller (Programmer / Setter / Operator)

* Strong experience with Fanuc controls

* Ability to work to tight tolerances

* Confident reading engineering drawings

* Experience with horizontal or vertical machining centres up to 5 Axis

Training & Progression

CAD/CAM experience is advantageous, however training in offline programming is available for the right candidate. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop into a more programming-focused role.

CNC Miller – Programmer / Setter / Operator What’s On Offer

* £40,000-£45,000 Per Annum depending on experience
