External Job Boards\nCNC Miller (Large Gantry Milling Machines)\nNewcastle upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear\n£18.13 to £23.52 per hour Depending on experience & shift pattern \nDays & Nights plus overtime available\nAn opportunity to join an exciting organisation as a CNC Miller (Large Gantry Milling Machines).\nCandidates will be time served CNC Machinists through a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship with experience on large gantry milling machines.\nMain Duties & Responsibilities:\n\nResponsible for ensuring the machine schedule is completed within the required timescales and to the correct drawing specifications\nWork methodically through tasks whilst ensuring quality is not compromised\nFollow quality policies and procedures\nHighlight any quality or production issues to supervision\nMaintain product traceability\nPrepare and load materials on machines\nMaximise machine utilisation with minimum downtime\nMultiple machine running when requested\nMentor apprentices and colleagues when requested\nComply with all health and safety requirementsQualifications, Skills and Experience:\n\nTime served CNC Miller/Machinist\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings\nAbility to understand and interpret geometrical tolerances\nFamiliar with Siemens 840 / Mazatrol controls\nCompetent working to and maintaining tight tolerances\nCompetent lifting heavy components\nExperience of machining large fabricationsCompetitive remuneration package offered. \n£18.13 to £23.52 per hour Depending on experience & shift pattern\nDays & Nights plus overtime available\nIf you feel that you have the necessary skills and experience, we would like to hear from you
