CNC Machinist

CareerMakers Recruitment are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for our client based in Wigan, WN5.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain panel saws and CNC machinery to cut, shape, and finish materials accurately
Interpret technical drawings, cutting lists, and CAD files to ensure precise production
Set up machines, including tooling changes, calibration, and program adjustments
Load materials and ensure correct alignment before cutting
Monitor machine operations to maintain quality and efficiency standards
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on machinery
Inspect finished components to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
Minimize material waste and optimize cutting patterns for efficiency
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety regulations
Work collaboratively with production, design, and assembly teams
Record production data and report any faults or inconsistencies

Skills & Requirements

Workinghours:

Monday Thursday 7:30am 4pm, Friday 7am 2pm

Salary: £15 per hour
